The 30 Best Hotels in Bangkok For Every Budget

The 30 Best Hotels in Bangkok For Every Budget

During your city trip to Bangkok you naturally want to stay in a hotel with the most central location possible. This way you can quickly reach all the sights in Bangkok and you can go out in the evening. The closer your hotel is to the highlights, the more expensive it will be. But fortunately, Bangkok is vast and you don’t necessarily have to spend the night in the heart of the city to be sure of a good location. And also in trendy neighborhoods such as Sukhumvit, Siam and Chinatown you can find some super nice hotels.

Below we list the best price-quality hotels for the whole of Bangkok. With tips to spend the night at the top locations and at more traditional places for a softer price. We have selected the best hotels in Bangkok for families, couples, business trips & solo travelers. Below you will find all the options divided in three budget classes ranging from low to high.

Are you looking for a good place to sleep in Bangkok at the lowest possible price? But you don’t want to end up in a bad neighborhood or in a dirty place? These hotels in Bangkok are “your best bet”.

One of the first things we noticed was that The Picnic Hotel Bangkok has a great location. The Victory Monument BTS Skytrain station, which you can use to travel all around Bangkok, is only 600 meters (0.37 miles) from the hotel and is easy to reach on foot.

Pratunam and Siam, two of the most popular shopping destinations in Bangkok, are close by and can be reached via just one sky train ride or with the (decent) public transportation. Suvarnabhumi International Airport can be reached within 30 minutes from the Picnic Hotel Bangkok.

Each room at the hotel is air-conditioned and features a flat-screen TV with cable. The rooms feature a seating area with a sofa, an electric kettle, and a fridge. The private bathroom offers free toiletries and a shower. In your room and in the hotel you will be able to enjoy free Wi-Fi, although you shouldn’t expect it to be super fast. The rooms are decently soundproof with heavy curtains. Coupled with the fact that the area is calm at night, it made it easy for us to sleep.

Meals and drinks are served both in the hotel and outside just a short walk away. There’s also a Tesco & a 7-Eleven store nearby. We definitely recommend taking a walk outside and trying some of the delicious local dishes. The park next door was awesome; it has free gym equipment and an evening aerobics class. The Picnic Hotel’s facilities and services include room service, a laundry service, and a 24-hour reception, for an easy check in and out.

If you are a traveler who loves shopping (for clothes and many other products) and trying delicious Thai food, you will feel right at home here in the Pathumwan area. In our opinion, this is one of our favorite parts in Bangkok.

When it comes to low budgets, this is definitely one of the best hotels in Bangkok. All in all, this hotel provides great value for the money you spend!

GM Suites is centrally located and just a 5-minute walk from the Nana BTS Skytrain Station. This station is used by many travelers to move around easily within Bangkok. The hotel features an outdoor swimming pool and offers free Wi-Fi throughout the property. There is also free public parking at the hotel which comes in handy if you are planning to take a ride with a scooter or bicycle yourself.

The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the Bumrungrad Hospital. Terminal 21, a great place to go shopping, is a 10-minute walk away. We also recommend a visit to Lumpini Park, which is about 2.2 kilometers (1.37 miles) away.

Each room has air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a fridge, and a minibar. It also includes a safe to store your personal items, and a microwave. They have a private bathroom with a shower and you can get free toiletries here.

For added convenience, there is a 24-hour front desk. A laundry service is also available. The rooms include breakfast or meals which are served from 7:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. The breakfast is not very special but it is enough to get some energy at the start of the day. We recommend starting breakfast early when the buffet is still filled up. Local and Western restaurants, such as a Pizza Hut, are within walking distance.

If you are interested in a fun nightlife, shopping for clothes, friendly people, and delicious Thai food, Wattana is a great area to stay in. This is definitely one of our favorite parts in Bangkok.

The Home Hotel is conveniently located in the Bangkapi district of Bangkok. The first thing we noticed after arriving at the Home Hotel was the incredibly friendly staff. They might not speak English very well but they certainly tried their best and they even pulled out the Google translator for more difficult questions (we appreciated it very much).

The rooms are very spacious at an amazing value. They contain a flat-screen tv, air-conditioning, private bathroom, and much more. The Wi-Fi is free but don’t expect it to be very fast (speed is decent for a hotel). You can even upgrade to a suite which is only about $5 more expensive than normal rooms and it is 48 square meters (516 square feet) large! It has a very modern style and your room will be cleaned every day (no matter which type of room you choose).

Facilities at this property include a restaurant, a 24-hour reception, and a shared lounge. The hotel has a fitness center and valet parking.

There’s a 7-11 nearby with several street food stands and plenty of spaces for parking. They have a great breakfast buffet which includes a big range of food, including fruits, omelets, and brewed coffee. One of the best breakfasts in a budget hotel we’ve had in Bangkok!

It located in a nice quiet neighborhood halfway between the airport and the city center. It is perfect to stay here for a night or two but if you’re staying in Bangkok for longer you can also opt for a hotel in the city center to be closer to all the highlights.

If you’re a traveler with an interest in city walks, entertainment, and cozy street markets then Bangkapi is a great area to stay in for a few days. One of the best hotels in Bangkok we’ve stayed at so far (on a low budget)!

This is one of the best hotels in Bangkok to stay at if you’re on a low budget! The Rio Monte Residence is located 7 km (4.34 miles) from Lumpini Park and 8 km (5 miles) from the Bangkok Art & Culture Center.

The area is a bit far away from the center. However, if you want to stay in a quiet area, with the possibility to meet locals in nearby restaurants, it is perfect! A one-way trip to the nearest BTS station Saphan Taksin costs 80 Baht (US $2.65). The reception is open 24 hours a day and they are always happy to help you with any questions you might have.

In the hotel every room has a wardrobe and a TV. All the rooms at the Rio Monte Residence are air-conditioned and include a desk. You can also enjoy a fitness center and get free Wi-Fi here. There is a nice small garden and a big swimming pool. The pool is a fantastic place to cool down in the hot weather.

The rooms were kept very clean and we didn’t encounter any problems with it. We actually forgot to bring our wallet one time with $200 in there and the staff came running out to give it back to us! They were very kind and caring.

The area where the hotel is located, Bang Kho Laem, is a great choice for travelers interested in sights, culture, and temples. There are also plenty of restaurants, local markets, and hair salons nearby. It’s also close to the river, great for a relaxing stroll. We definitely recommend taking a look at the deals for this hotel.

Situated near (450 meters) the cozy Bangkapi Mall Shopping Center in Bangkok, the Baron Zotel enjoys an atmospheric and convenient location. If you walk for 5 minutes you can reach the Tawanna Night Bazaar and the Happyland Center. The hotel is easily reached from Suvarnabhumi Airport which is only 17.9 km (11.1 miles) away.

Throughout the hotel you can make use of their free Wi-Fi (don’t expect it to be very fast though). A telephone and a dining area are also available in each room. The private bathrooms include shower facilities and free toiletries.

One of the great things about staying in the Baron Zotel is that you can find assistance from the staff at the front desk 24 hours a day. Room service is also available upon request. We found the staff to be very friendly and we were even offered a light beverage at the lobby. For drivers, the hotel also provides free private parking on site.

The hotel also has a tuk-tuk shuttle to the main road (which is quite a distance away) next to the mall and markets. We were really happy with this service since it was raining when we were there and we needed to get to the main road.

Bangkapi is a great choice for travelers interested in city walks, entertainment, and street markets. Around the hotel there are malls, small food markets, and indoor shopping markets. A great area to try some delicious Thai food! It’s definitely one of the best (low budget) hotels in Bangkok.

Set a little further away from the city center, at a 10-minute drive from Don Mueang International Airport, the B-yourhome hotel offers modern, fully furnished rooms, an outdoor pool, fitness center and a garden. You can stay in beautiful rooms with a view of the city and enjoy your own terrace. Every room includes air conditioning (which is very much needed with Bangkok’s hot climate), a television, safe and a wardrobe.

Free Wi-Fi (which was quite decent) is available in all rooms. Ordering food to your hotel room is easy and you can order whenever you want thanks to the hotel’s 24-hour room service. In the morning you can enjoy a breakfast buffet, during any other time of the day you can visit the hotel’s own restaurant. The B Stay Hotel (not to be confused with B-yourhome) is a newly built hotel, featuring modern and spacious rooms and bathrooms. In all the hotels we’ve stayed at in Bangkok, this was one of the cleanest and the beds are very comfortable. Where some beds gave us a bit of back pain due to hard mattresses, this one didn’t give us any trouble at all!

Situated at 8 km (5 miles) from the Central Festival EastVille, the B Stay Hotel has a restaurant, non-smoking rooms, free Wi-Fi, and a terrace. The property is around 11 km (6.8 miles) from Central Plaza Ladprao, 11 km (6.8 miles) from Arab Street and 12 km (7.45 miles) from Central Embassy.

The hotel offers a buffet or à la carte breakfast. For us the buffet breakfast was included and it was a really nice bonus to our experience here. If breakfast buffets are not your style you can always choose to take a walk outside and enjoy many delicious Thai dishes. The staff was super friendly, helpful, and is always available to provide advice to you at the reception.

If you’re looking for a cheap modern hotel with clean rooms and great options to travel all around you, then we recommend taking a look at this hotel. We certainly found it to be one of the best hotels in Bangkok for a low budget.

Situated in Bangkok, near Khao San Road, the Sunset Residence Pinklao boasts air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi throughout the property.

We have stayed at the Sunset Residence Pinklao two times so far, and there is nowhere else we’d rather stay when we are visiting Bangkok! When it comes to finding the best hotels in Bangkok for a low budget, this is the one we prefer.

Our room was very clean and comfy. We were really (pleasantly) surprised about the large rooftop terrace which has a beautiful view. In addition, the owners of the hotel were very kind and helpful. They offered us fresh snacks and coffee every morning and presented us with a lot of information about the area around the hotel and the best places to find authentic Thai food.

The location might not be perfect but it is very calm, has few tourists, and it’s located close to the Indy Nightmarket, the Department stores etc. It doesn’t take long to reach the Sky Train Station and the boat pier for a quick way to get around the city. We’ve spent 4 lovely nights there the last time we were in Bangkok and we highly recommend staying at the Sunset residence.

We rate the staff, facilities, and the location all a big 10/10! There are always delicious snacks at the reception and you can always find a good espresso. The room is outstanding and has all the amenities you need. It made us feel like we were at home even though we were on the other side of the world.

Set a little away from the city center in a quiet area, a 30 minute drive from the Suvarnabhumi International Airport, the Zircon Hotel offers air conditioned, spacious, clean rooms which include a flat-screen TV, refrigerator, personal safety deposit box and an electric kettle. In the en suite bathroom you can enjoy a shower with free toiletries.

The hotel has its own fitness room with a variety of equipment, free park for travelers who like to drive on their own and a front desk that’s open 24 hours a day where you can get assistance from the friendly staff.

Outside the hotels’ doorstep you will find the trendy Bangkapi area with many restaurants, cafes and street markets. A great choice for travelers who love city walks, entertainment and trying out delicious Thai street food.

In this price range, this was by far one of the nicest and cleanest hotels we’ve visited in Bangkok. The room was fairly spacious, the beds are comfortable, and the shower has high-pressure water (hot water is available). A similar room near Khao San Road, for example, would cost you at least 3-4 times as much making this one of the best hotels in Bangkok for this area.

Note that the hotel is not really close to any major points of interest so you’re going to have to take a taxi or other means of public transport. It’s perfect for people who love a more quiet area.

The Best Medium Budget Hotels in Bangkok

Affordable middle class hotels are very scarce in Bangkok. It is a good search between the towering hotel prices and often moderate reviews. We selected some hidden gems with which we’ve had very good experiences, which are well assessed and are also reasonably priced. Use it to your advantage!

Enjoying a quiet location near the center of Bangkok, the Craftsman Bangkok features a restaurant, outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a bar. This 4-star hotel offers a 24-hour front desk, a business center and free Wi-Fi. The property is non-smoking and is set 2.4 km (about 1.5 miles) from the Chatuchak Weekend Market.

It’s a very cozy hotel where everything is up to standard. We checked in at a late time (around 1 a.m.) and the staff was very kind, waiting for our arrival. We were greeted by a modern, chic & minimalistic style room with plenty of space. The beds were comfortable, the interior design looked great and the bathroom was very clean. Some of the rooms offer an amazing view of the pool through the window, it’s worth checking out!

Besides an awesome room there is also a gorgeous pool for those who want to cool off from the hot and sweaty weather outside. Looking for some more relaxation? We recommend trying out the deep tissue massage that you can get at the spa, it felt amazing! Downstairs you can also find a bar where you can relax and have a drink or two. Besides relaxation you can also work on your health in the small but decent gym which has all the necessary equipment.

Although it is not located in the center of Bangkok, it is still quite easy to get around the city. We felt quite safe going out late at night in this cozy neighborhood. If you’re the kind of traveler who loves shopping and eating delicious Thai food then you will feel right at home in the Phaya Thai area where this hotel is located. For a low budget this is one of the best hotels in Bangkok and we definitely recommend taking a look!

Offering a rooftop pool and a fitness center, The Residence on Thonglor is situated in the trendy Thonglor area in in Bangkok, adjacent to the Camillian Hospital and near various restaurants and bars. The Suvarnabhumi International Airport is only a 25 km (about 15.5 miles) drive away.

The hotel enjoys a fine location and provides a shuttle that will take you to the BTS if you don’t want to walk the 20 minutes. The hotel offers a tasty and varied breakfast which was very delicious. Surrounding the hotel are many bars and restaurants where you can relax with some drinks or try delicious Thai food. If you’re looking for a great nightlife, shopping and friendly locals, the Wattana area (where this hotel is located) is the place for you.

The rooms are well-equipped (including a flat-screen cable TV, living and dining area) and very spacious in a modern style. The bathrooms come with a bathtub, shower and free toiletries. Some of the rooms have a balcony with a view (check carefully if it is included). There are plenty of amenities and facilities available (pool, gym, etc.). Best of all, it’s a relatively quiet and private place, perfect for a night of relaxation from the crowded streets of Bangkok.

Our first experience with the staff at the hotel was a very pleasant one. We thought that we booked a room with a kitchenette (to try some home cooking) but we in fact made a mistake. When we expressed our mistake to the front of house staff, they opted to upgrade us to a room with a kitchenette regardless of the fact that we had booked the room without. They definitely didn’t have to do that and it was very kind of them. The friendliness of the staff coupled with superb rooms and facilities make this one of the best hotels in Bangkok we’ve stayed at (for a medium budget).

You can reach the iSanook hotel in just a 10-minute walk from the Samyan MRT Station. The Chao Praya River Pier is about a 15 minutes’ walk away or 5 minutes by taxi. Many of the main attractions in Bangkok are within 5 km (about 3.1 miles) of the hotel. The Bang Rak area where this hotel is located, is a great choice for travelers interested in convenient public transport, great ambience and friendly locals.

The rooms are super clean with comfortable beds. The bathroom was awesome as well; spotlessly clean. The water never clogged and it wasn’t damp at all since the fan worked incredibly well. It includes amenities such as towels (even one for the pool!), a hairdryer and toiletries. Some of the rooms come fitted with a balcony. Laundry services are available as well.

The hotel felt very much like home to us thanks to its friendly staff. We probably enjoyed one of the fastest free Wi-Fi speeds at this hotel; 25 down and 15 up in every room. All rooms have a private network.

There was a large selection of breakfast options. If this isn’t enough for you then you can just take a stroll outside and find many small eateries and a 7-eleven nearby. The restaurant at the hotel has great Thai and Western food options plus a whole menu of vegetarian dishes. You can also order food to the pool if you’re craving some relaxation. In the evening you can enjoy some drinks on the rooftop bar.

Staff at the 24-hour front desk will attend to your requests. Travel arrangements can be made at the tour desk. The free shuttle to Siam Square, the Samyan MRT Subway Station and the Si Phraya Pier was very useful and we definitely made use of it. The tuk-tuk drivers also had no issues finding our hotel. All things considered this is one of the best hotels in Bangkok if you’re looking for convenience, delicious Thai food, and an easy stop to transport to anywhere in the city.

Offering an outdoor pool and spa center, the V20 Boutique Hotel is located in the Bangkok Province Region, 1.5 km (about 0.93 miles) from Central Plaza Ladprao. The hotel has a year-round outdoor pool and hot tub, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. The swimming pool is great and the gym room even has some massage chairs to really help you destress. Chatuchak area is a great choice if you’re interested in shopping or visiting the night markets.

Union mall and central plaza is close to the hotel where you can buy snacks and Superich is located there too. A free shuttle bus can bring you to these places as well as the Chatuchak market and the nearby MRT or BTS. The shuttle bus is luxurious and very comfortable to sit in. It is nothing like a tuk-tuk which you can find at other hotels. The driver of the shuttle is very friendly and provides you with excellent service (he was kind enough to drive us to nearby supermarkets and the mall).

The rooms at the hotel are very big and comfy. They even include a Jacuzzi! The beds were so big that we didn’t even need an extra bed (one is big enough for 2 people). Every room at this hotel is air conditioned and features a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Some units have a seating area to relax in after a busy day. Views of the reef aquarium, pool or garden are featured in certain rooms (check carefully). Each room comes with a private bathroom. Extras include bathrobes and slippers.

The staff at the hotel is very nice and cheerful, especially the kind lady we met during the night shift. She recommended a local market to us, which is very close to the hotel, where we got fresh and very delicious BBQ prawns at an excellent price! This is one of the best hotels in Bangkok when it comes to service and great value for your money, definitely check it out below!

A comfortable stay awaits you at the Pantip Suites’ hotel, with its awesome rooms and friendly staff. The hotel is centrally located, close to Lumpini Park (which we recommend visiting!), with plenty of transportation options such as taxis. The complimentary tuk-tuk from the hotel to the local station is a great bonus.

Located in the business district of Sathorn, Pantip Suites is a 10-minute drive from Silom Market. Shopping malls like Siam Paragon and Siam Centre are only a 20-minute drive away. It is a 45-minute drive from Suvarnabhumi International Airport. Sathorn is a great choice for travelers who are interested in visiting local temples, Thai culture and sightseeing.

Take in the view of a beautiful tropical landscape while lounging by the outdoor pool. Alternatively, you can also relax in the sauna or get a soothing massage after an active workout at the gym.

The apartments are huge, with decent bedding, great bathrooms and a private balcony giving you an amazing view of the city. Given their enormous space the rooms are perfect for families. The Wi-Fi in the room was good. There is also Wi-Fi available in the reception area, you just need to ask for the password and they will give it to you. The rooms are cleaned daily unless you don’t want them to. Every room has a personal safe and appliances (e.g. a hairdryer).

In the morning you can enjoy a delicious and healthy breakfast buffet. Do keep in mind that it is open until 10 a.m. We recommend going there early when the food is fresh to get the best experience out of it. At the Café Pantip you can get delicious Thai dishes or choose from a full international menu (private dining areas are also available).

We weren’t able to check out late due to the hotel being fully booked, but the staff allowed us to keep using the pool as well as the showers and changing facilities in the gym. It was a perfect way to spend some time before departing on our evening flight. It was one of the best experiences we’ve had at any hotel in Bangkok. Check it out below!

One of the best hotels in Bangkok when it comes to value for your money. The Hotel Royal Bangkok@Chinatown enjoys an excellent central location right in the middle of Chinatown. Another bonus is that the hotel is within walking distance to the Hua Lamphong Train Station at about 500 meters (about 0.3 miles) and the MRT – Hua Lamphong.

TIP – Right at the corner of the main street is the famous T&K Seafood. If you have the chance try it out, you won’t be disappointed (unless you’re not a fan of seafood)!

The hotel offers an outdoor salt-water pool, a bar and a restaurant. You can get access to free Wi-Fi throughout the property. You can enjoy meals at the on-site restaurant or linger at the hotel’s pool-side bar. The breakfast buffet was very decent with many options to choose from.

All rooms are air conditioned and come with a flat-screen TV, a safety deposit box and ironing facilities. A desk and an electric kettle are also available. Some of the rooms include a seating area with a sofa or a dining area. Rooms have a private bathroom with bathrobes, a hairdryer and free toiletries. We enjoyed the view of the pool from our room! It was also very clean, the beds were comfortable and we loved the walk-in shower. From the rooftop bar you will also have a great view and we spent some time there just relaxing. It’s a great way to destress after a long day of walking or after a long journey with the airplane.

Enjoying a location in the heart of Bangkok, the Salil Hotel Sukhumvit Soi 11 offers a great experience to anyone looking for a place to spend the night. It’s just a short walk to BTS Nana Skytrain Station and there are a good number of bars and restaurants around the hotel. It is only a 10-minute drive to the Emporium Shopping Center and Benjasiri Park. When you step outside the hotel you will quickly find out that there are plenty of transport options available in the area, making it easy to explore Bangkok.

Inspired by beautiful local flowers, the rooms are furnished with colorful walls and floral motifs. Each non-smoking room comes with a satellite TV, a safety deposit box and a minibar. A bathtub or shower is included in a private bathroom. Like most hotels in Bangkok, you can enjoy free Wi-Fi here throughout the property.

One of the major surprises to us was the breakfast! We woke up pretty late and we came down to the reception to check-out of the hotel at around 11.50 a.m. However, the staff informed us that our breakfast still available for the both of us at the restaurant! We didn’t expect this at all and even though it’s not that big, it was great service. You also don’t have to worry much about buying bottled water outside because there is plenty available at the hotel.

All the hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful, making us feel at home. The hotel room had a unique feel with great décor; it didn’t feel like it was just a room with walls. The check in/out experience was quick and easy.

TIP – Check out the Boarding Pass travel agent, located just 100 meters down the street (towards Sukhumvit). They have some excellent deals on shows, tours and excursions.

Situated on the vibrant Sukhumvit Soi 11 Street, at just a 7-minute walk from the BTS Nana Skytrain Station, Travelodge Sukhumvit 11 offers accommodation in a minimalistic style with free Wi-Fi and private parking on site.

Our room was awesome and clean! We really enjoyed a good night’s sleep with excellent and comfortable mattresses and pillows. The rooms have a minimalistic style but it still feels like home. All rooms have air conditioning and come with a safety deposit box, work desk and a flat-screen TV with satellite. Some of the rooms come with a seating area (check carefully). The private bathroom is very clean and contains a hairdryer and free toiletries. You can enjoy the free bottles of water in every room. They really come in handy on the many hot and sweaty days in Bangkok!

We accidentally paid for breakfast (completely our fault) but we didn’t take it because we wanted to have breakfast somewhere else. We wanted to cancel our breakfast and the staff was kind enough to contact booking to refund the money for the breakfast, which they didn’t have to do, so it was a nice touch!

After exploring the city, you can relax by the pool, located on the rooftop. Not only can you cool off here but you can also enjoy the great view of the city from here. Are you looking to be more active? They also have a fitness center where you can work out and keep in shape.

One of the famous nightlife steeds in Bangkok, Arab Street, is only a 10-minute walk away from the hotel. Driving for 10 minutes will get you to the Terminal 21 Department Store. This is a shopping venue that features a different theme on each floor, very cool to see! Boasting an outdoor pool overlooking the Bangkok skyline, Metropole Bangkok is a high-rise accommodation located in a convenient area of Bangkok with a private parking area available on site. It’s a bit far from the shopping centers, but it’s very convenient to use Grab (a sort of taxi service) here in Bangkok.

The Metropole Bangkok is gorgeous and one of the best hotels if you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful & relaxing place to stay. It has a great ambience with a nice fragrance & music is played at the lobby which is very soothing.

The rooms were amazing with very comfortable beds and pillows – We almost didn’t want to leave. The toilets and shower were both lovely and clean. The free Wi-Fi that you can get throughout the hotel was of excellent quality, even for video calls across the world.

We find it hard to complain about anything at this hotel. The staff is more than accommodating to every single one of our needs, speaking perfect English. Even the taxi drivers here are great! We used the tourist desk at the lobby to arrange a taxi and the driver was one of the nicest locals we’ve met in all of Bangkok. He brought us to and collected us from the Chatachuk market (a good place to visit!). Khun Pol, the doorman at the hotel, gave us a wonderful experience. Like many reviews we’ve read, he loves to take care of all the guests that stay here. It’s very rare these days to find people like him.

We are sure that anyone who stays here is in for a treat! It might not be the best hotel in Bangkok but it’s certainly very close! Coupled with the price and amazing staff this is a hotel we highly recommend, check it out!

Enjoying a great location directly opposite the Platinum Mall and just steps away from the Central World Plaza, the luxurious Amari Watergate offers modern style rooms with city, garden or pool views, a spa, multiple restaurants and complimentary breakfasts. In 10 minutes you can walk from the hotel to the BTS Airport Railway Station with plenty of public transport available right outside the door.

The bedrooms are huge and they include a private toilet and bathroom. The beds are very comfortable and we loved the fact that we could choose from different types of pillows. All rooms feature a 40-inch flat-screen TV with a DVD player and free Wi-Fi, which was quite decent. The in-room dining experience was also very good. If relaxing in your room isn’t enough you can also visit the Breeze Spa and Salon. You can get a full body massage or even a haircut here!

If you’re an active traveler and you want to relief some stress you can take a trip to the Fitness Center which includes a squash court and an aerobics studio. Afterwards you can enjoy one of the steam rooms or sauna.

Breakfast at the lounge was a bit limited so we recommend going to the level 4 Amaya dining area where you can find more variety in breakfast options. There are 2 on-site restaurants, the Amaya Food Gallery & the Cascade which both offer an international cuisine. If you’re looking for a real Thai food experience we recommend taking a step outside where you will find many traditional Thai street food dishes right on your doorstep.

It’s on the expensive side but it is definitely one of the best hotels in Bangkok that we’ve stayed at. The area of Pathumwan, where the hotel is located, is great for travelers who enjoy shopping and trying delicious Thai street food.

All rooms at this property offer city views and plenty of space and comfort. Each room is equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher, and a microwave. The fully equipped kitchen features cooking utensils and cutlery, so you can try making your own signature dishes! Both the bedroom and the living room feature a flat-screen TV with international channels and a DVD player. Most of the bathrooms provide a bathtub and free toiletries.

If you’re coming back from a long walk or just want to relax for a bit you can enjoy the sauna (or work out even more) at the fitness center. If you’re a family with children you can take them to the kids’ club for a fun time. We made plenty of use of the free shuttle service to nearby areas such as the Nana BTS Station. From here, you can travel throughout Bangkok.

The famous Arab Street is only a 5-minute walk from the property and the Terminal 21 Shopping Center is a 10-minute drive away. Suvarnabhumi International Airport is a 50-minute drive from Fraser Suites. The Wattana area is a great choice if you’re interested in a vibrant nightlife, shopping, street food and friendly locals.

The executive balcony suite where we stayed was very luxurious and definitely met our expectations. The staff was also amazing and went above and beyond for us! If you’re looking for one of the best hotels in Bangkok, and you have some money to spend, take a look at Fraser Suites below!

We stayed at the Hotel Muse two times and it is absolutely amazing in every way. After staying in Bangkok in many different hotels we have a lot of experience when it comes to the 5 star hotels and Muse is always one of our favorites.

Inspired by the era of King Rama V, the hotel is very chic and intelligently made. All rooms contain artistic furniture, are very spacious, and they were always kept very clean. The rooms include an iPod dock and a flat-screen TV with a computer connection. Our room was well taken care of every day. The bathroom is brilliant along with its facilities which include an iron and all the toiletries you could ask for.

The pool, which we’ve used plenty of times, is located on the roof with an amazing view over the city. It’s a great way to relax and cool off during the hot and sweaty weather of Bangkok. It’s also a perfect way to relax after spending some time at the Fitness Center of Hotel Muse, which provides all the necessary equipment.

On our last night at Muse we had an amazing dinner experience at the Medici – we ordered the beef fillet (for two persons) and it was the best eye fillet we’ve ever had in our life (and that says a lot coming from us who have eaten all around the world!). The Speakeasy Rooftop Bar has some of the best cocktails you can find in Bangkok and again, the artistic style is very quirky and unique. At Le Salon we enjoyed a magnificent continental breakfast and they also offer afternoon tea and snacks all-day long.

The location is perfect at just a few minutes’ walk to the BTS station which provides access to anywhere you want to go in Bangkok. The complimentary tuk-tuk is also a great bonus that we recommend making use of, especially if you haven’t tried it yet. One thing is for sure, we can’t wait to come back here again! In our book this is the best hotel in Bangkok for a higher budget.

The hotel has a tour desk and a 24-hour reception. It provides laundry and dry cleaning, currency exchange and express check-in/check-out. Check out more below!

Situated along the Chao Phraya River, the Shangri-La Hotel Bangkok boasts a 10,000 square meter Fitness Center and the highly awarded spa called Chi. Among its many (about 10) dining options is an award-winning restaurant.

You can try both traditional and modern Italian dishes at the Volti Ristorante & Bar where they play live music, giving it a luxurious at-home atmosphere. If you’re looking for a more romantic dining experience, visit the Horizon II River Cruise which serves an Asian and international buffet on a private riverboat. For the sweet tooth they have a wide range of sweets and hot drinks at the Chocolate Boutique. The breakfast includes many international and Thai options.

Besides trying out every delicious dish you can find, you can also join daily aerobics and dance classes at the hotel, or enjoy some games of tennis. For extra relaxation the Shangri-La Bangkok also provides a spa, pool, and sauna and steam rooms. Other facilities include a shopping arcade, a clinic and a business center.

TIP – Try going on the dinner cruise! We left it for the last night and we wished we did it sooner so we could have done it more often. If you’re looking for a great way to relax try one of the hot stone massages at the spa.

We particularly enjoyed the rooms at the Shangri-La which feature Thai décor with silk and wood furnishings, making it look authentic and stylish. Depending on the room you get they offer a city or river view. We had an amazing view of the river and definitely recommend it!  Each room is equipped with a flat-screen satellite TV, a safety deposit box, and a stocked minibar.

The location of the hotel is fantastic – there is a dock at the hotel where you can take the boat to anywhere you want. It is also conveniently located near the BTS and metro station making it easy to go sightseeing and shopping. Enjoying a location close to the Nana BTS Skytrain Station, The Landmark offers accommodation with beautiful views of Bangkok City. It provides 9 different dining options from a Rib Room & Bar Steakhouse to a French style restaurant with plenty of wine options, and a 4-story shopping arcade.

The hotel itself is pleasant, quiet and in an excellent location; in the middle of the city close to the shopping malls/streets, a bustling nightlife and plenty of restaurants. When you book a premium room you will get many extras, for example: Private check in and out on floor 31, free breakfast (of excellent quality), cocktails (as much as you can drink, for free!) from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. with a roof top view and a free buffet. The premium rooms are of great quality with everything you need including a coffee (using pods) machine. You can do your laundry for free and gain all day access to a bar full of snacks, tea and coffee.

The rooms are kept clean daily and the air conditioning was excellent. The hotel’s cars that you can use for transport are also clean and very comfortable. Especially for families this hotel is highly recommended with its many conveniences.

The hotel has a high tier fitness center. The pool is kept very clean with showers and plenty of towels. For this price it is one of the best hotels in Bangkok, giving you the most bang for your buck around this area. Other famous hotels like the Continental, Marriot, etc. are sometimes twice the price. We definitely recommend taking a look at this hotel!

We had an amazing experience at The Landmark Bangkok. First of all the staff was probably the kindest we’ve ever met at any hotel. They took care of us by giving us their phone number so even after we checked out we would still be safe in Bangkok – a great service! After a long and sweaty day they will even offer you some water after returning to the hotel. If you’re looking for an environment of friendly people who do everything to take care of you then there’s almost no need to read any further, check out this hotel!

The luxurious Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn is connected to the Skyline (Surasak BTS Skytrain Station) on the 3rd floor, making it easy to go to the ferry and the ICONSIAM (an amazing shopping mall that’s out of this world). The Sathorn area where the hotel is located is a great choice for those of you who love temples, culture and delicious Thai food. The property is located close to the Grand Palace and thus near the other famous shrines. This also happens to be one of the hotels where the majority of the tour companies pick up people from.

Every single person in the staff was amazing and generous in their assistance, always with a smile on their faces. The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed, a big shower, a fully stocked minibar and we loved that they had English, Spanish, Italian and French TV channels free of charge. We also loved the view from the large windows. We’ve made use of the room service a couple of times and it was efficient and amazing.

The breakfast buffet was amazing, providing everything you can think of, including fresh squeezed juices, omelets, eggs made to order and a variety of excellent bread choices.

Including free parking, the hotel also provides a business center, currency exchange (which comesin handy at times) and babysitting services (great for families!). Laundry and ironing services are also available.

TIP – Right next to the hotel is an amazing restaurant called the Ocken which is well worth a visit. They serve an international/European menu with modern dishes.

Our stay at the Banyan Tree was amazing! Everything was so perfect in there and the room and facilities exceed your expectations. The lobby always has some traditional Thai music going on and when we got there we were welcomed with a traditional Thai bracelet and a welcoming drink.

The room was beautifully decorated with wooden flooring, spacious and the beds were out of this world. We had many good nights of rest there because the beds are very comfortable. The room has a stunning bathroom with a big bath tub and a large walk-in shower. Our room had views over the city and the pool which was perfect. The room also offers a seating area, coffee/tea maker and satellite TV. You can enjoy complimentary non-alcoholic beverages from the fully stocked minibar.

The breakfast at the hotel is amazing. There is plenty of choice and there’s something for everyone, which is freshly prepared right in front of you. Of course, when you’re staying at the Banyan Tree you have to take a look at the amazing rooftop bar, which is outstanding with a gorgeous view. When we got there it was very crowded and there was no place for us at the normal bar. We asked the staff if we could drink something at the restaurant side, because we were hotel guests there, and that was actually not a problem! (For visitors who are not staying at Banyan this is absolutely not allowed!). We were amazed by this service and we got to enjoy the rooftop bar on the really quiet (restaurant) side, which is lovely.

The location is not ideal if you’re looking for a quiet time since it’s on Sathorn Road, which is always crowded. However, it seems to be crowded almost everywhere in Bangkok and it is very close to a metro stop so if you want to avoid taking many taxi’s, this is a great solution.

TIP – The prices at the restaurants in the hotel are very high. Thankfully, there are plenty of restaurant and street food joints right outside the door! Try some of the delicious traditional Thai food dishes that you will find almost everywhere.

Situated just 100 meters from the Central Embassy which boasts many different restaurants, cafes and shops, the Park Hyatt Bangkok offers an amazing outdoor pool and gorgeous views of Bangkok city. The hotel has a sun terrace and spa center, and you can also enjoy a meal at the restaurant or drink a cocktail at the bar. The amazing outdoor swimming pool that is overlooking Lumpini Park and the surrounding skyscrapers makes for a pleasant and relaxing experience.

One of the first good impressions we got was the beautiful architectural design of this new hotel that was opened recently.

Each room at this hotel is well air conditioned and comes with a flat-screen TV. Some rooms (check carefully) provide a seating area to relax in after coming back from a busy day. You will also find a coffee machine in the room which comes in handy for those who want to wake up early to start the day. Each room comes with a private bathroom where you will find bathrobes and slippers. You can even play your music via Bluetooth on a BOSE sound bar in your room. The room size of 48 square meters is comfortable for couples, families and solo travelers.

The Pathumwan area, where the Park Hyatt is located, is a great choice for travelers who love shopping and delicious Thai food. From the hotel you can walk to Central World, BigC, Siam Paragon or even the Siam Discovery via the footbridge system. Park Hyatt is not cheap but it is one of the best hotels in Bangkok when it comes to beautiful city views and architectural design.

TIP – Try booking a room that faces the British Embassy’s garden, it’s a beautiful view!
